The salt museum belongs to the coastal conservatory and is run in association with the salt works on the Pointe au Sel site. It is managed by the Réunion Department, via the Natural History Museum, and presents the history of the site and the processes involved in salt production. "Passe-moi le sel" (pass the salt) is an exhibition on the different types of salt available to Réunion consumers. Guided tours of the museum available. Open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:00.
